European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM)
The EDQM was established to protect public healthcare by ensuring that medicines meet high standards of quality and safety enabling the development, supporting the implementation and monitoring the application of high quality pharmaceuticals and their safe use which have been recognized as a scientific benchmark and adopted worldwide.
The EDQM issues certificates of suitability (COS).
